Using the Webworx Console you have the ability to add FTP Sub Users. This is useful if you want to give developers or staff FTP access to only certain directories within your subscription.
To add a Sub FTP User, log into your Webworx Console and click on the Websites Tab
Then click on the FTP Access option:
Click on Create Additional FTP Account
Enter the details for your new user.
FTP Account name: This will be what your new user uses as an FTP Username
Home Directory: This is the root directory that you want the user to have access to. They will be able to access all files and folders within this directory only. You can use the folder icon to browse available directories. For full access use just / in the root directory.
New FTP Password: We suggest using the Generate Password here, or set a strong password. You can click Show to see the generated password.
Click OK, and the new user will be able to sign into FTP and have access to only the directory you have allowed them.
